Emergent Resources Pty Ltd was incorporated in Western Australia on 9 May 2007, becoming a public company on 19 July 2007. The Company has successfully negotiated a joint venture to earn up to 80% equity (from De Grey Mining Ltd) of the potentially important Beyondie Iron Project and an option (subject to ASX listing) to acquire base metal, gold and uranium granted exploration licences and applications from Pandell Pty Ltd and Oakover Gold Ltd. The latter two companies are both entities controlled by a highly respected and successful prospector, Mr Denis O’Meara, (awarded the AMEC Prospector of the Year jointly with Geoff Blackburn in 2004). Mr O’Meara has been instrumental in the discovery of a number of deposits over the years on other ground.

The portfolio constitutes a substantial package of projects in Western Australia and (subject to ASX listing) Emergent will have 5 high priority project areas comprising;

While the portfolio covers important prospective geological settings that are conducive to the emplacement of substantial or world class mineral deposits, after listing, Emergent will seek further opportunities of potential economic significance throughout Australia and the world.
