E09/1394 (Emergent 80%, Pandell Pty Ltd 20% free carried to BFS)
Introduction
The project encompasses an area Mr O’Meara (Pandell Pty Ltd) has monitored over the years as a potential gold prospect. The ground encompasses several radiometric anomalies as shown on an old BMR map in the Southern Cross Well Area.

Tenure, Location & Access
Located on the Byro 1:250000 sheet, between Mt Narryer and Curbur station homesteads the ground is accessed by station roads from Mt Narryer and Curbur station homesteads. The licence is located on the Byro 1:250,000 sheet (SG 50 -10) and the 1:100,000 sheets Badgeradda (2044).

Geological Setting
The project area is located close to the western edge of the Archaean gneiss-migmatite terrain controlled by the Meeberrie Fault and is underlain by high grade metamorphics of variable grain size banded gneiss consisting of microcline-plagioclase-quartz-biotite composition in part migmatitic. Metamorphosed Banded Iron formation (BIF) are presented as of quartz-magnetite rocks.

Exploration History
The area was targeted for diamond exploration by Carr Boyd and Rio Tinto in the 1980s and 1990s using EM and geochemistry without economic success (one micro diamond was found and recorded). Rio identified an ultramafic unit in the area. It would appear that the area may have been targeted for uranium potential in addition to the gold potential.

Exploration Program
Of particular interest and importance are BMR recorded uranium anomalies numbered 18 to 22 on the old BMR aeromagnetic map which have no record of being followed up (Figure 10). These targets may have copper and or gold associated mineralisation and ground detailing is expected to delineate drill targets for these commodities. Geophysical surveying and RAB drilling may further define mineralisation.
